Wonderful News
My new doctor called me this morning with some results to the test i had done. He is concerns about my kidneys, but i have stopped taking certain meds that always altered my kidney function. We'll keep watching these results.
The best news came with my A1C numbers, that show a 3 month level of my blood sugar. The average person should be at 7 or below. In the past i have been at dangerous levels around 11. But these most recent levels are ... ... ... 6.2.
The nurse who came over to change my bandages today, put just a large band-aid on the wound saying that it looks really good and clean. She even thinks i only need a dressing change every third day.
My diet, exercising and taking 1000 mg of vitamin C daily (which helps with healing) is giving me hope and confidence.
